Job summary

Prince George’s County Office of Information Technology is seeking an IT Project Architect (Info Tech Project Coordinator 4G) to lead architectural assessment, design, and planning of complex technology solutions for County agencies. You will engage with agency leadership to develop roadmaps and portfolios, and provide technical leadership across enterprise projects.

The role emphasizes governance, strategy, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and alignment

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, business or public administration or a closely related field.
Three (3) years of information technology experience, with at least one (1) year in lead/supervisory duties.
No equivalency for required supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Lead architectural assessment, design, and planning of complex technology solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, cybersecurity requirements, regulatory mandates, and business needs.
Engage with agency leadership, business stakeholders, and IT executives to develop and maintain enterprise technology roadmaps, strategic IT plans, and project portfolios.
Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight for enterprise projects, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable designs aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
