Job summary

Prince George’s County Government is seeking a senior IT professional to design and implement technology solutions across County agencies. The role acts as IT strategy planner, architect, and project manager, guiding business analysis, feasibility studies, and stakeholder communication under the PMO Manager’s supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, business or public administration or a closely related field.
• Three (3) years of information technology experience, including at least one (1) year in lead/supervisory duties.
• Any equivalent combination of relevant training, education and experience may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural assessment, design, and planning of complex technology solutions.
• Engage with agency leadership, business stakeholders, and IT executives to develop enterprise roadmaps and strategic IT plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional solution design workshops and sessions involving multiple stakeholders.
• Provide governance and oversight for project portfolios, budgets, and schedules.
• Mentor project managers, business analysts, and technical staff on PM methodologies and architecture standards.

Education

PMP – Project Management Professional (PMI Certification)

CBAP – Certified Business Analyst Professional (IIBA Certification)
