Job summary

Phoenix Contact Group is seeking a Strategic Program Manager – IT to translate strategic intent into executable programs driving technology-enabled transformation and realized benefits across North America. You will partner with IT leadership and executives to ensure aligned governance, visibility, and measurable outcomes.

The role requires extensive cross-functional collaboration, strong program management discipline, and the ability to influence across multiple functions and regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related technology field preferred.
• 12+ years of related professional experience preferred, including leading strategic initiatives and cross-functional programs.
• Proven success leading complex cross-functional initiatives without formal reporting authority.
• Strong program management, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to connect program execution to business outcomes, value realization, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic programs aligned to approved strategic objectives.
• Translate approved strategic intent into executable program plans and roadmaps.
• Coordinate enterprise-level integration and execution across multiple functions and country enterprises.
• Provide holistic program management oversight of technology-enabled strategic initiatives and investments.
• Manage governance, risks, issues, dependencies, and change activities for successful delivery.
• Provide executive-level reporting, recommendations, and decision-support materials.
• Collaborate with IT and PMO leadership to translate enterprise strategy into actionable technology initiatives.
