Job summary

SBA Communications seeks a Senior IT Project Manager to lead cross-functional IT initiatives from planning through post-go-live support within established budgets and timelines. The role requires strong ownership, stakeholder management, and accountability in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate with business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and users to ensure successful delivery, governance, and continuous improvement. A PMP/CAPM or related certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, MIS or related field.
• 5+ years of project management or IT project management experience.
• Experience leading technology projects, system implementations, or enterprise business systems.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery, ITIL, and SDLC concepts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with project governance and using PM tools for reporting and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT projects across business functions, systems, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Define goals, scope, milestones, timelines, budgets, and success criteria with leaders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk and issue logs, and dashboards.
• Coordinate meetings, capture decisions, and ensure action items are tracked.
• Manage scope, dependencies, risks, changes, and budget impacts; escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with analysts, development, infrastructure, QA, vendors, and users.
• Prepare status updates and executive-level presentations for stakeholders.
