Job summary

G-III Apparel Group is seeking an experienced Director of IT Project Management to lead the technology portfolio and governance across a global retail and digital tech environment. You will ensure initiatives are prioritized, resourced, financially managed, and delivered in alignment with business strategy.

The ideal candidate will have extensive enterprise program leadership, PMO best practices, and the ability to drive organizational transformation across complex platforms and brands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Business, or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive program, portfolio, or PMO leadership experience managing complex enterprise technology initiatives.
• Proven success leading global, multi-workstream technology portfolios across multiple brands and regions.
• Experience overseeing M&A technology integrations, TSA transitions, and post-go-live stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Lead our technology portfolio, including integration initiatives, operational projects, and enterprise transformation programs.
• Establish and manage portfolio governance, project intake, prioritization, sequencing, and stage-gate processes with executives.
• Lead Steering Committees and portfolio reviews with concise reporting on budgets, risks, and outcomes.
• Direct planning across Dynamics 365, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, MuleSoft, Shopify, OMS, PIM, and more.
• Oversee TSA transitions, data migration, and vendor transitions during integrations.
• Own portfolio budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and vendor management.
• Provide coaching to Project Managers and external program resources.
• Establish PMO governance standards, templates, and executive escalation.
• Translate strategic initiatives into executable roadmaps with ownership and metrics.
• Ensure change management, communications, and post-implementation support are integrated.
• Oversee SOWs and vendor performance to ensure delivery excellence.
• Ensure SOX, SDLC, PCI compliance, cybersecurity and enterprise governance adherence.
• Establish post-implementation reviews and benefits realization frameworks.
• Leverage AI-enabled project management tools to improve planning and risk management.
