Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking a Senior Procurement IT Category Manager to lead the global IT procurement program, managing software and SaaS negotiations and driving cost reductions. The role partners with IT, finance and legal to optimize licensing and renewals while aligning with contracting guidelines and risk controls.

The position is remote within the US, with a focus on cross-functional excellence, stakeholder management, and strategic sourcing at scale.

Qualifications

10-15 years of experience in a procurement or buying role.
10+ years of experience supporting IT and technology categories.
Experience supporting procurement categories on a global scale.
Experience managing procurement activities for fleet or a closely related commodity.
Bachelor's Degree.
Strong communications & presentation skills.
Experience working in SAP or a similar ERP system, MS Office, eSourcing and Procure 2 Pay tools.
