The role requires partnering with IT, finance, and legal teams to challenge licensure needs, consolidate applications, and secure terms that align with company guidelines.

You will manage complex software agreements, benchmark market terms, and lead a governance process for executive sign-off.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in a procurement or buying role.
• 10+ years of experience supporting IT and technology categories
• Experience supporting procurement categories on a global scale
• Experience managing procurement activities for fleet or a closely related commodity

Responsibilities

• Lead IT procurement initiatives focusing on software and SaaS, including license optimization.
• Collaborate with IT, finance, legal and business stakeholders to streamline applications and reduce TCO.
• Develop proactive renewal strategies and leverage timelines for favorable terms.
• Negotiate complex software agreements that reflect fair market value and business needs.
• Provide contracting market intelligence and benchmarking to ensure compliant terms.
• Possess a consulting mindset with structured, analytical problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.
