Job summary

Baxter International is seeking a Sr. Manager IT Procurement to lead category strategies and supplier negotiations, focusing on software/SaaS within a global IT transformation.

You will collaborate with internal partners to drive value, manage critical supplier relationships, and deliver cost savings while scaling innovative IT solutions. The role requires 8+ years in category management, strong negotiation and analytics, and the ability to work in a multi-cultural, matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Supply Chain, Information Technology or Business Management.
• 8+ years of category management experience with multinational organizations.
• Experience sourcing Information Technology with emphasis on Software/SaaS.
• Proven experience in people, stakeholder and project management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal partners to lead category strategies and long-term goals.
• Lead supplier selection, risk assessment and contract negotiation.
• Ensure Supplier Relationship Management programs for strategic suppliers.
• Provide regular progress updates to Senior Leadership and partners.
• Lead negotiations across critical supplier agreements using value-based techniques.
• Monitor and report on savings and incremental value of sourcing activities.
• Drive innovation by reviewing market developments and leveraging internal networks.
