The role leads software sourcing initiatives, negotiates renewals, and drives cost savings while coordinating with IT, finance, and legal teams. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of procurement experience and 3+ years in IT software categories, with strong Excel skills and a track record in vendor management and contract negotiations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Procurement (Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management) experience.
• 3+ years of IT Technology category experience (software) preferred.
• VAR/reseller management experience.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management across IT, Finance, Legal, Cybersecurity, and business teams.
• Ability to independently manage sourcing initiatives and drive to completion.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, IT, CS, Engineering, Legal or related quantitative field.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and contract negotiation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate IT contract renewals with IT stakeholders and partners.
• Manage software category initiatives from usage forecasting to contract execution and savings tracking.
• Conduct strategic sourcing, vendor evaluations, negotiations, awards, and contract management.
• Support IT procurement escalations and coordinate with internal stakeholders and MSPs.
• Execute IT software procurement activities, contract reviews, approvals, and SOP/compliance improvements.
