Job summary

Minnesota IT Services (MNIT) seeks an Agency Operations Specialist to coordinate customer service and financial support across MNIT Enterprise, MNIT DPS, and DPS divisions. You will be the expert for IT purchasing, review quotes, invoices, and supporting documents, and assist with contracts as needed.

You will join the MNIT@DPS Leadership Team, support budget planning, fiscal management, and strategic financial analysis, and use BI tools to produce executive insights to guide decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of related experience in financial operations.
• Experience with budget analysis and GAAP.
• Experience with financial systems and IT commodity procurement.
• Ability to communicate clearly to facilitate mutual understanding.
• Customer-focused approach with active listening and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination of customer service and financial support between MNIT Enterprise, MNIT DPS, and DPS divisions.
• Review quotes, invoices, and supporting documents; resolve financial discrepancies with customers, vendors and staff.
• Support budget planning, fiscal management, and strategic financial analysis using BI tools for executive insights.
• Participate on the MNIT@DPS Leadership Team; manage special projects and assist CBTO with daily admin tasks.
