Delaware Department of Technology & Information (DTI) is seeking a Chief of Policy and Communications to shape policy, develop communications, and coordinate statewide IT strategies. The role reports to the CIO and supports the Governor’s Office, agencies and the public.

You will lead the planning of IT Centralization, manage strategic issues, and oversee DTI branding and external communications with media and the public.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required (or equivalent experience). Advanced degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide policy recommendations to the CIO and review legislative proposals.
• Coordinate statewide IT strategic planning and statewide e-government initiatives.
• Serve as liaison between the CIO, Governor’s staff, agencies and General Assembly.
• Develop talking points, press releases and coordinate multiagency events.
• Lead statewide technology initiatives and manage sensitive or strategic issues.
