Job summary

DTCC is seeking an Executive Communications Director to lead strategic communications for the CIO and IT leadership, aligning technology and innovation with enterprise goals. You will craft speeches, talking points, and presentations for diverse audiences including clients, regulators, employees, and media.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in corporate communications and/or a similar position, preferably in financial services and/or technology.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate the CIO’s vision and IT leadership priorities into a compelling narrative that elevates global awareness of technology initiatives.
• Serve as senior communications strategist and primary writer for CIO/CTO and IT executives across audiences including clients, regulators, employees and media.
• Provide proactive counsel on emerging topics, risks, and opportunities to communicate priorities and progress with confidence.
• Lead CIO Board of Directors communications, including updates, briefings, presentations and talking points.
• Identify themes and proof points to develop original storylines that demonstrate the value of DTCC’s technology work to stakeholders.
• Provide a communications lens to the technology and innovation strategy and counsel to influence its direction.
• Develop and execute a social media content strategy with a primary focus on LinkedIn.
• Develop and execute an internal and external event and conference strategy to showcase priorities and position technology leaders as thought leaders.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on communications metrics to refine messaging and channel strategy.
• Mitigate risk by following established procedures and maintaining ethical standards.
