Job summary

Kemper Corporation in the United States is seeking a Director of IT Planning & Performance Management to lead enterprise-wide IT planning, governance, and performance visibility across the CTO, CISO, Enterprise Technology Services, and Data teams. You will align technology priorities, demand, capacity, investments, and roadmaps to enable informed executive decisions.

This role uses a matrix leadership model to guide embedded IT Planning and Delivery Managers while ensuring delivery aligns with

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT strategy, planning or governance.
• 5+ years of cross-functional tech leadership in matrix structures.
• Experience with IT budgets, forecasting and executive reporting.
• Strong SAFe/Agile delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise strategy and roadmaps by consolidating IT plans into an enterprise view.
• Establish demand intake, prioritization, and planning standards; resolve cross-IT conflicts.
• Consolidate resource capacity, demand, budget, forecast, and investment information for alignment.
• Direct enterprise IT planning dashboards and leadership reviews for clear visibility into delivery health.
• Provide coaching and direction to embedded planning managers and advance Agile/SAFe practices.
