Kemper is a leading insurer offering a remote, nationwide role for an executive-level leader in data, analytics, AI, and intelligent automation. You will shape enterprise strategy, governance, and data products to drive measurable outcomes, with travel as needed across the US.

Responsibilities include building scalable cloud data platforms, establishing governance, and partnering with business leaders to enable data-driven decisions and growth.

Competenze

• At least 10 years’ experience in technology, data, analytics, or artificial intelligence, including significant executive leadership experience
• At least 8 years’ experience leading and developing teams
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise data engineering, cloud data platforms, data architecture, governance, and data product development
• Proven success developing and implementing enterprise AI strategies, including generative AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, and responsible AI governance
• Extensive experience translating data and AI investments into scalable business solutions, production adoption, and measurable operational or financial outcomes
• Strong understanding of data security, privacy, regulatory compliance, and technology risk management, preferably within insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry
• Demonstrated ability to develop enterprise technology strategies, manage complex portfolios and budgets, and lead cross-functional transformation initiatives
• This position is a remote role and can work from a US based home. The qualified candidate will need to be able to travel occasionally

Mansioni

• Enterprise Data & AI Strategy: Develop and execute enterprise data, analytics, and AI strategies aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and technology priorities.
• Data Engineering & Data Products: Lead enterprise data engineering, modern cloud data platforms, data architecture, and reusable data products.
• Data Governance & Quality: Establish enterprise data governance frameworks, standards, and accountability for data quality, security, privacy, metadata, lineage, and master data management.
• Artificial Intelligence & Intelligent Automation: Partner with application teams on the development, implementation, and adoption of enterprise AI, machine learning, generative AI, and intelligent automation solutions.
• Analytics & Business Enablement: Partner with business leaders to advance enterprise analytics, self-service reporting, predictive insights, and data-driven decision-making.

Formazione

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field

Master’s degree, MBA, or advanced technical degree preferred
