Bloedel Reserve is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead day-to-day technology services, ensure secure operations, and align IT with business goals on Bainbridge Island. You will collaborate with leadership, manage budgets, and guide projects from planning to delivery.

The role blends hands-on operational ownership with strategic planning, vendor evaluation, and governance to support growth and organizational priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily maintenance and troubleshooting of IT systems and provides user support.
• Collaborates with leadership to identify tech needs and gathers feedback.
• Manages device inventory, software licenses, and lifecycle tracking.
• Creates and maintains a technology roadmap aligned with growth.
• Implements security measures, policies, firewall/antivirus, and staff trainings.
• Evaluates vendors and makes cost-conscious recommendations.
• Manages IT budget and resource allocation for projects and operations.
• Negotiates vendor contracts and optimizes IT spend.
• Leads full project lifecycle with scoping, planning, monitoring, and communication.
• Sets and monitors SLAs for IT support and service availability.
• Performs risk assessments and disaster recovery planning.
• Maintains vendor relationships and performance reviews.
• Advises on structure and long-term trajectory of CRM and database needs.
• Supports Marketing & Communications on website issues and external support as needed.
• Assists departments in developing long-term technology strategies.
