Planned Parenthood of Northern, Central and Southern New Jersey is seeking an Associate IT Director to lead the Help Desk, manage IT operations across multiple locations, and drive security and identity strategies. This role requires overseeing 14 locations, strong collaboration with the IT Director, and a focus on Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Okta, and endpoint security.

The position is based in Trenton, NJ with travel throughout Northern, Central, and Southern New Jersey.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or related field preferred; an equivalent combination may be considered.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressive IT experience with increasing responsibility in IT operations or service delivery.
• Experience leading or managing a Help Desk, service desk, or IT support function.
• Demonstrated experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID and identity/access management.
• Okta experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of MFA, Conditional Access, endpoint security, and least-privilege access.
• Experience with Intune and endpoint management.
• Understanding of modern security frameworks and practices (Zero Trust, NIST, CIS, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Experience operating in hybrid environments with cloud and on-prem AD.
• Proven ability to manage vendors and technology partners.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and escalation-management skills.
• Strong communication skills with technical and executive stakeholders.
• Experience supporting a multi-site organization.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and oversee the Help Desk and day-to-day IT service delivery.
• Manage and mentor Help Desk and IT support personnel; distribution, training, and development.
• Serve as primary escalation point for complex end-user and technical issues.
• Establish and monitor Help Desk processes, SLAs, ticket management, escalation procedures, and metrics.
• Support the IT Director in leading IT operations across infrastructure, service desk, endpoint management, and security.
• Own and improve the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Support identity and access management strategy across Microsoft Entra ID and Okta.
• Implement and maintain security best practices (MFA, Conditional Access, device trust, least-privilege).
• Oversee endpoint management using Intune (device compliance, patching, config, hardening).
• Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of IT systems and services.
• Manage IT vendors, MSPs, and technology partners; collaborate with IT Director.
• Oversee asset lifecycle management across 14 locations (hardware, software, licensing).
• Partner with IT Director and business leaders to align IT services with goals.
• Assist with IT policies, standards, procedures, and broader IT roadmap.
