The role spans multiple subcategories and requires cross-regional collaboration with Americas, EMEA and APAC teams to optimize spend, quality and compliance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

  • Experience developing and executing category strategies for IT Infrastructure and Telecom.
  • Experience negotiating enterprise contracts with hyperscalers and IT vendors.
  • Ability to collaborate with IT, Legal, Finance and risk management teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute multi-year category strategies for IT Infrastructure (Cloud, IT Infra Apps, IT Hardware and Infrastructure Services) and Telecom, aligned with CBRE's technology roadmap and business priorities.
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify cost reduction opportunities, technology trends and competitive supplier landscapes across all subcategories.
  • Lead competitive solicitations including requests for proposal (RFP), requests for information (RFI) across the category portfolio.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supplier performance, spend under management and savings delivery.
  • Aggregate and analyze category spend data to prioritize sourcing initiatives and report outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Negotiate commercial and contractual terms for Cloud agreements, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and similar hyperscaler agreements, with a focus on commitment structures, enterprise discount programs and consumption-based pricing.
  • Negotiate IT Infrastructure Application agreements, including endpoint management, monitoring, virtualization and Infrastructure security tooling vendors.
  • Negotiate IT Hardware agreements (including Dell, Lenovo, Cisco) spanning end-user devices, data center infrastructure, networking equipment and audio visual systems.
  • Negotiate Infrastructure Services agreements covering managed services, field services and digital workplace support.
  • Negotiate enterprise Telecom agreements covering wired line networks services and wireless carrier services, mobile device management and enterprise mobility programs.
  • Serve as the lead commercial intermediary between suppliers, CBRE Procurement, Legal, IT and Risk Management throughout the contracting lifecycle.
  • Manage supplier relationships at a senior level and lead dispute resolution and contract renewals.
  • Act as a trusted business partner to IT, Network Engineering, Workplace Technology and Finance leaders, translating technology requirements into procurement strategies that deliver competitive advantage.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement strategies align with CBRE's technology and capital planning cycles.
  • Communicate sourcing outcomes, savings and risk mitigation measures clearly to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Champion procurement best practices and educate business stakeholders on the value of strategic sourcing.
  • Partner with regional sourcing teams across Americas, EMEA and APAC to aggregate volume, share market intelligence and develop globally aligned category strategies.
  • Coordinate cross-regional sourcing initiatives to leverage CBRE's global spend and negotiate enterprise-level agreements.
  • Support nearshore team members through mentoring, subject matter guidance and competency development.
  • Ensure all sourcing activities comply with CBRE's procurement policies, standards and supplier governance frameworks.
  • Maintain accurate and current category data, market intelligence, contract repositories and savings tracking.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, tools and best practices across the category team.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy to deliver against strategic objectives with limited supervision.
