Job summary

Synergy Associates is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support technology hardware procurement and supply chain operations. You will source IT hardware, negotiate terms with suppliers, and manage purchase orders to meet customer and business requirements.

The role requires strong procurement knowledge, negotiation and analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced technology distribution environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in procurement or IT hardware purchasing.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing vendor relationships.
• Understanding of inventory, shipping terms, and supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in procurement of IT hardware, components, systems, and related products based on demand, sales opportunities, inventory requirements, and company objectives.
• Source products from approved manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and other authorized supply channels.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations based on price, availability, lead time, product condition, warranty, payment terms, freight, and other factors.
• Negotiate pricing, purchasing terms, freight arrangements, and other terms to improve margins.
• Prepare, issue, and manage purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor open purchase orders and coordinate timely delivery with suppliers.
