Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks a seasoned Commercial Contract Manager to lead the lifecycle of high-value agreements, SOWs, and MSAs. You will partner with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and IT to shape commercial scopes, manage budgets, and ensure governance across multiple vendor programs.

The role requires 5+ years in systems development and proven leadership in contract management, negotiation, and governance within a hybrid, multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in computer science, math or directly related quantitative degree or related field.
• Five (5) years systems development experience which includes programming.
• If position is in mainframe environment, IMS experience.
• If position is in client/server environment, OO development or client/server projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete contract lifecycle, including drafting, redlining, evaluating, and negotiating high-value SOWs, MSAs, amendments, and renewals.
• Ensure alignment of prioritization, feasibility, and funding approvals.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Procurement, IT and business owners to ensure proper contract structures and SLAs.
• Monitor vendor compliance and manage changes, renewals, or terminations.
• Lead executive reviews and align contracts with business goals and delivery timelines.
• Translate technical requests into well-defined commercial scopes and terms.
• Act as escalation point for vendor Issues and disputes.
• Oversee supplier selection through competitive bidding and commercial analysis.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements.
• Forecast professional services demand and analyze TCO for business cases.
