Job summary

Expression is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to oversee the company’s contracts function and support federal contracting growth. You will lead day-to-day contracting across the lifecycle from pursuit to closeout, coordinating with BD, Finance, PM, Security, and Legal Counsel.

The ideal candidate has strong federal contracting experience, sound business judgment, and the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced, small organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Strong federal contracts and subcontracts management experience is required.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating NDAs, teaming agreements, and subcontracts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for contractual matters with government customers and partners.
• Manage federal prime contracts and subcontracts through lifecycle including awards and closeout.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and subcontracts coordinating with legal counsel.
• Assess terms to identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Lead negotiations within approved parameters and obtain approvals.
• Track requirements, funding, periods of performance, and deadlines; communicate actions to stakeholders.
