FinOps Weekly at Oakland University IT Business Operations team is seeking an IT Financial/Budget Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the IT organization. You will work with CIO and IT leadership to align technology spending with strategic priorities in a university setting.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 2+ years in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, or similar.
• Strong MS Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis skills.
• Experience with budgeting software and ERP systems preferred.

• Develop and manage the UTS budget with IT leadership.
• Monitor expenditures to ensure alignment with budget and cost-saving goals.
• Create resource allocation plans for IT departments.
• Support cost management, funding proposals, grants, and reporting.
• Collaborate with procurement, project management, and coordinators.
• Assist with financial risk review and mitigation for UTS.
• Support long-range planning and multi-year cost projections.
