Western Alliance Bank is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst for the IT organization. You will partner with IT leaders to provide financial plans, forecasts, and insights for technology investments and operational performance. Responsibilities include budgeting, variance analysis, and executive commentary on IT spend.

The ideal candidate will combine FP&A fundamentals with an understanding of technology operations and strong communication with senior management to influence strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or closely related discipline.
• 8+ years of FP&A experience, preferably with IT unit.
• Knowledge of project accounting principles and methods.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with senior leadership.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office; Oracle and Workfront preferred.
• Analytical, organized, proactive, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support IT FP&A with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Coordinate monthly close, variance analysis, and management reporting for IT.
• Analyze IT headcount, software licensing, cloud, hardware, and third‑party spend.
• Identify financial risks/opportunities and advise leadership.
• Develop KPIs and advanced analytics to inform IT decisions.
• Improve processes, standardize reporting, and scale systems.
