Job summary

Original Composites & Fiberglass is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Financial Analyst to provide financial and administrative support for IT services, software, hardware, and subscriptions. You will work with IT leadership, Finance, Sourcing, Legal, and suppliers to ensure costs are planned, authorized, tracked, and forecasted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning, forecasting, purchasing administration, supplier invoice management, contract administration, budgeting, or financial analysis; IT organization experience preferred.
• Proficiency with SAP ERP or similar enterprise purchasing and finance platforms including requisitions, orders, invoicing, reporting, and analysis.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office; able to analyze spend data, build forecasts, reconcile variances, and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience with IT services, licensing, subscriptions, telecommunications, hardware, and supplier relationships; strong accounting and cost control knowledge.
• Ability to operate in a matrixed, global environment with virtual teams and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with IT stakeholders, project managers, Finance, Sourcing, Legal, and suppliers to clarify requirements, validate quotes, and support approved orders.
• Create and track purchase requisitions and purchase orders for IT spend according to procedures and budgets.
• Maintain visibility to open POs, committed spend, renewal schedules, expiring services, and supplier billing issues.
• Validate licenses, renewal terms, and contract references; ensure compliance and proper financial treatment before orders are submitted.
• Process spend activity and vendor invoices promptly; resolve invoice inaccuracies and blocks.
• Collect and consolidate monthly IT expense forecasts for operating and project spend; generate variance analyses.
• Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including accruals and allocations; reconcile IT spend to cost centers.
• Assist annual financial planning by gathering IT stakeholder requirements and preparing leadership recommendations.
• Monitor capital spend with project managers, validate in-service dates, support capitalization decisions, and close-out procedures.
• Provide oversight of IT supplier contracts, leases, maintenance, software subscriptions, and renewal documentation; track key dates and approvals.
