Job summary

J.Jill is seeking a Manager of IT Audit and Compliance to ensure IT systems integrity, Sox compliance, and success of SDLC projects. You will assess, monitor, and enhance IT controls, processes, and procedures while partnering with cybersecurity and privacy teams.

You will lead internal and external audit activities, draft reports, and communicate findings to management, while mentoring teams and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Requires 5-6 years of relevant experience in internal audit, external audit (Big 4), risk consulting, IT and/or SOX compliance, with emphasis on IT auditing.
• Strong understanding of Sox regulations and IT controls, documentation and timing.
• Understanding of System Development Life Cycle concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication to present to peers and management.
• Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions.
• Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT Sox effort over effectiveness of internal controls including testing of ITGCs and ITACs, key interfaces and reports.
• Lead SDLC reviews for new software implementations with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct comprehensive technology audits to evaluate IT controls and risk.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, reduce costs, and strengthen controls.
• Collaborate with Cyber and Privacy teams to manage evolving risks.
• Draft audit reports and communicate findings to process owners and management.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit management on testing status and deadlines.
• Build and maintain relationships with IT departments.
