Job summary

IonQ is seeking a strategic IT Asset Manager to own the global asset portfolio lifecycle, from procurement to disposal, ensuring compliance and optimized spend. You will bridge IT operations, finance, and legal, while providing hands-on lifecycle logistics and basic IT support for the internal team.

The role emphasizes governance, compliance, and strategy with opportunities to influence security and data integrity across a growing quantum computing enterprise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in ITAM/SAM, IT procurement, or IT contract governance.
• Experience handling multi-site corporate environments.
• Strong vendor contract negotiation and cost-optimization skills.
• Ability to manage highly confidential compliance procedures & chain-of-custody.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and enforce asset lifecycle policies and procedures.
• Analyze technology spend and drive budget forecasting.
• Oversee software license compliance and SaaS subscriptions.
• Coordinate asset audits and maintain audit readiness.
• Provide basic IT helpdesk triage and provisioning.
