Job summary

Alpha Omega Integration is seeking a Senior IT Architect & Program Manager to lead end-to-end IT initiatives for a federal client in Washington, DC. This hybrid role blends technical vision with program leadership to deliver secure, compliant enterprise solutions on schedule.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of IT architecture and large-scale program management, with cloud migration and federal procurement experience. AWS/Azure Architect certifications and PMP, PgMP, or CSM are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of combined experience in IT architecture and large-scale IT program/project management.
• Experience in system design, cloud migration, enterprise integration, or modernizing legacy infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-year IT programs with budgeting and performance tracking.
• Strong understanding of federal IT acquisition processes, project management frameworks, and cybersecurity compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define high-level technical blueprints and system architecture to meet complex operational requirements.
• Ensure solutions align with IT strategy, security standards, and federal compliance (e.g., NIST/FISMA).
• Perform technical trade-off analyses on cost, performance and maintainability.
• Manage full project lifecycle: scope, schedule, budget, resources.
