San Bernardino County is recruiting for Business Applications Managers who thrive in a collaborative IT environment where teamwork, solutions, and ideas are valued. The role leads an IT team, develops business application strategies, manages projects, and ensures effective use of IT resources across departments.

The ideal candidate has at least four years of experience in business systems analysis and IT project leadership, with a relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of full-time equivalent experience conducting business systems analysis, technology-based feasibility studies, and managing IT projects.
• Three (3) years of full-time equivalent experience as an IT project lead or supervising automated/business systems analysts, programmers, or related roles.
• Education substitution: up to 30 semester (45 quarter) units with additional qualifying experience.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relations and champion customer service.
• Provide oversight to complex projects and project timelines.
• Develop and monitor project budgets.
• Lead and manage Business Solutions Development staff.
• Participate in Strategic Planning and Process Improvement initiatives.
