Job summary

San Bernardino County is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst-Project Lead to drive complex technology initiatives and serve as a strategic liaison among business departments, IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

The role focuses on leading projects end-to-end, translating business needs into actionable IT solutions, and guiding teams through requirements, testing, implementation, and transition to operations.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of full-time IT project experience with at least four areas: requirements, UAT, process mapping, workflow diagrams, business rules, feasibility studies, cost/benefit analysis.
• Three (3) years of production-environment business systems analysis experience with at least four areas.
• Education: 30 semester units in IT, business administration or closely related field; substitution by additional experience allowed.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium-to-large IT and business application projects through all lifecycle phases.
• Act as primary liaison between business customers, IT teams, vendors, and management.
• Capture and analyze requirements, perform process analysis, and translate needs into technical specs.
