Job summary

Golub Capital, based in New York, seeks a high-potential professional to support the Investor Partners Group COO team with strategic initiatives and cross-functional priorities. You will help develop business plans, budgets, and governance while ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of key projects.

The role requires 4+ years in investment banking, asset management, or consulting, with strong Excel/PowerPoint, analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work with senior executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA and / or CFA a plus.
• 4+ years of experience at a top-tier investment bank, investment management firm or consulting firm.
• Financial services and / or asset management industry experience is required.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
• Ability to synthesize and present complex information in a clear, concise and compelling manner.
• Strong project management skills and ability to multitask.
• Adept at interacting with senior executives, department heads and external partners.
• Demonstrated experience in working with high-performing teams; ability to establish relationships and work effectively with a variety of business partners.
• Ability to maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently, set priorities and meet aggressive deadlines.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage AI tools in day-to-day work, with strong critical thinking to assess accuracy, limitations and appropriate use of AI generated outputs.
• Enthusiastic about working in office and creating a Gold Standard hybrid work culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist IPG COO Team, Co-Presidents and senior leaders with key initiatives and cross-functional priorities.
• Support development of business plans, budget forecasts and resourcing plans (quarterly, annual, 3-year).
• Ensure projects are defined, prioritized and completed on time and on budget.
• Prepare key financial analyses and reports with Strategic Accounting & Finance.
• Assist with presentations, analyses and recommendations for senior management.
• Manage project plans, milestones and execution of expansion efforts.
• Help drive process improvement through AI-enabled solutions.
• Provide leverage to IPG COO Team and sub-departments.
• Become an expert on Golub Capital and the asset management industry.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and potential implementations.
