Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Manager of Inventory, Materials Control, Receiving and Scrap to oversee all inventory-related activities, ensuring accuracy, efficient receiving, and optimal material flow to support production and financial goals.

You will lead the team on cycle counts, stock optimization, scrap reduction, and KPI reporting, collaborating with procurement, production, and finance to drive continuous improvement and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, or related field (preferred).
• 5–10+ years in inventory/materials management.
• 5 years in a managerial role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ERP/WMS knowledge.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proven leadership and analytical skills.
• Ability to generate and interpret statistical data.
• Proven experience in idea generation and cost reduction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory control processes to ensure high levels of accuracy (cycle counts, physical inventories).
• Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies.
• Implement and maintain inventory control systems and procedures.
• Analyze inventory trends and optimize stock levels (min/max, safety stock).
• Ensure ERP/WMS data integrity.
• Coordinate material flow to support production and customer demand.
• Partner with procurement and production teams to ensure material availability.
• Manage material staging, kitting, and internal logistics.
• Support demand forecasting and inventory optimization initiatives.
