Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Florida is seeking a hands-on Manager of Inventory & Cost Accounting to lead the inventory accounting, product costing, and close processes.

You will drive SOX controls, partner with operations and Sourcing, and ensure accurate financial reporting under US GAAP. You will manage a team, shape process transformation, optimize SAP ERP usage, and provide strong financial partnership across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics and FP&A.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years' progressive accounting experience in large companies.
• 3+ years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory accounting, product costing, and related reserves.
• Manage month-end close, reconciliations, and audit deliverables.
• Strengthen internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Provide cross-functional support across sourcing, operations, manufacturing, and logistics.
• Lead transformation initiatives to optimize SAP and ERP processes.
• Coach and develop the accounting team to drive operational excellence.
