Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience in inventory control and material planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret reports and correspondence; strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with Quantum software or an ERP system preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to multi-task.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory controls to ensure accuracy and up-to-date records.
• Perform monthly cycle counts and assist with year-end physical inventory.
• Investigate inventory variances and propose solutions to management.
• Analyze stock levels against usage and production schedules for material availability.
• Issue Manufacturing Orders (MOs) for internally produced parts based on demand and forecast.
• Release purchase orders in absence of Purchasing Manager.
• Review reports on material usage and adjust reorder levels and quantities.
• Support in ordering and organizing non-inventory items as needed.
