Job summary

JBT Marel in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced Inventory Analyst to manage warehouse inventory analysis and maintain accuracy across ERP systems. You will optimize stock levels, identify shortages or overstocks, and coordinate with sales and operations on replenishment.

Responsibilities include performing MRP reports, daily BOM reviews, maintaining inventory data, and generating reports on stock, forecast accuracy and KPI trends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse inventory analysis management and analysis, or similar experience.
• Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated aptitude for maintaining inventory accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Determine optimal stock levels and replenishment strategies.
• Perform MRP reports to identify replenishment orders.
• Plan daily BOM reviews to initiate sourcing and purchasing requirements.
• Maintain inventory part information in ERP system.
• Forecast with sales & operations to maintain appropriate equipment stock levels.
• Implement and monitor key inventory planning metrics.
• Collaborate to reduce excess and obsolete inventory.
• Use data analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities in inventory management and demand planning.
• Generate regular reports on inventory levels, forecast accuracy, and other KPIs.
• Support safety, quality, and productivity initiatives.
• Compile inventory reports and distribute to management as needed.
