Job summary

Extreme Networks is seeking a Senior Manager, Internal Communications to translate business priorities into impactful employee communications and programs. You will balance long-term planning with hands-on execution across content, governance, events, and digital touchpoints while leading a small team.

The role requires partnering with executives, driving engagement, and delivering clear, aligned messaging across a global organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related disciplines.
• Experience partnering with executive and senior leaders on business-critical communications.
• Experience managing employee engagement programs, internal events, digital communications platforms, and external vendors.
• Proven ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across functions.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Experience leading and developing communications professionals.

Responsibilities

• Own internal communications strategy, planning, platforms, and governance to deliver effective, employee-focused communications.
• Create content and messaging that drive awareness, understanding, and engagement around priorities and initiatives.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across the organization and advise senior leadership.
• Oversee employee engagement programs, internal events, and digital touchpoints.
• Foster accountability and professional growth within the team.
