Job summary

Airbnb is seeking an experienced Senior Internal Communications professional to craft and guide high-impact messaging across executive channels and company-wide platforms. You will translate complex technical topics into clear, engaging communications and partner with VP-level leaders to shape the AI and data science narrative.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in strategic internal communications, editorial, or journalism.
• Exceptional writer and editor with the ability to translate complex topics into clear messages.
• Fluency with AI and technical subject matter; curiosity about product development.
• Counselor to senior leaders with strong editorial judgment.
• End-to-end communications practitioner: planning, research, writing, editing, distribution, measurement.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills; proficient in presenting complex topics simply.
• Self-directed and collaborative with strong analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as strategic partner to client leaders, providing counsel, feedback, and presentation coaching.
• Develop quality executive materials and messaging for leadership and org-wide channels.
• Translate deeply technical work into compelling messages for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Shape narratives to align tech stories with broader company priorities.
• Own the design and production of high-impact moments (all-hands, leadership forums).
• Edit for quality and scale across the team’s communications channels.
• Lead or support change management, crisis communications, and special projects.
