Job summary

Turnberry SCM Company, LLC is seeking a Senior Manager of Insurance Risk to lead the management of the organization’s insurance programs and risk portfolio across Corporate, Hospitality, Retail, M&A, and Construction/Development operations.

The role partners with executive leadership, Legal, Finance, and Operations to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, oversee safety initiatives, and provide strategic risk‑transfer guidance to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in insurance, risk management, brokerage, or related field.
• Deep understanding of insurance program structures and risk financing concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-management skills.
• Experience with claims management and end-to-end program administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, placement, and administration of insurance programs across all verticals.
• Manage executive and ownership personal lines coverage placements.
• Coordinate with brokers and internal stakeholders for data and policy placement.
• Conduct risk analyses, budgeting support, and premium projections.
• Oversee risk transfer provisions, endorsements, and contract language.
• Monitor market trends and advise on cost control strategies.
• Own first‑party property and auto claims in partnership with carriers.
• Ensure compliance and coordinate with Legal on risk mitigation.
• Oversee certificate of insurance compliance for tenants, vendors, and activations.
