Job summary

Aventura Mall in Florida seeks a Senior Manager, Insurance & Risk to lead the design, placement and administration of the company’s insurance programs and risk portfolio across Corporate, Hospitality, Retail, M&A, and Construction.

You will partner with executive leadership, Legal, Finance and Operations to identify, assess and mitigate risks, oversee safety initiatives, and manage claims, budgeting and compliance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in insurance, risk management, brokerage, underwriting, or related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills with the ability to influence across all organizational levels.
• Deep understanding of insurance program structures, coverage forms, risk financing concepts, and carrier/broker operations.
• Proven experience with claims management and end-to-end insurance program administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, placement, and administration of insurance programs across all company verticals.
• Manage risk financing strategies, premium projections, and loss fund contributions.
• Coordinate with brokers, legal, finance, and operations to mitigate risk.
• Oversee certificate of insurance compliance and enforce contractual risk-transfer provisions.
• Support crisis planning and safety initiatives.
