Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 11+ years of relevant experience, including 4+ years of management experience.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Risk Management processes with respect to coverage placement, contract review, insurance compliance, claims management, insurance recovery, and other facets related to protection of company assets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support insurance strategy for property, casualty, executive liability, cyber, and aerospace coverages.
• Budgeting, premium allocation, forecasting, invoice reconciliation, and cost reporting support.
• Renewals, negotiate terms and pricing, evaluate coverage options, maintain carrier relationships.
• Assess and implement risk financing strategies, including self-insurance or captive options.
• Identify, track, and quantify insurable risks across units, programs, and facilities.
• Analyze loss trends, actuarial reports, and exposure data for strategic decisions.
• Develop departmental processes to support execution, controls, continuity, and scale.
• Support claims processes with internal and external partners as needed.
• Review and negotiate insurance and indemnification language in contracts.
• Collaborate with legal, procurement, finance, and operations to align risk transfer strategies.
• Lead, develop, and mentor an insurance and risk management team.
• Present executive reports and dashboards on program performance and risks.
