Job summary

RT Specialty, a division of Ryan Specialty, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support strategic initiatives and bridge solutions with business objectives. You will lead or participate in multiple, complex projects across teams, gathering requirements, documenting processes, and driving scalable outcomes.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, manage analytics, and contribute to agile practices while delivering value and efficiency across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (BS) with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience in the property and casualty insurance industry is desirable.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Experience with Agile development techniques and Jira/Confluence desirable.
• Experience with insurance policy management/administration systems desirable.
• Project management skills such as defining scope, maintaining project plans and driving project teams desirable.
• Ability to analyze data to draw business-relevant conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with key business stakeholders and understand their needs.
• Gather requirements, identify improvements and propose optimized solutions.
• Produce and maintain detailed project documentation related to initiatives.
• Develop and execute a project communication plan and facilitate meetings.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and testing strategies for scalability.
• Demonstrate up-to-date expertise to define requirements and provide guidance.
• Participate in agile sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives as needed.
• Lead or participate in multiple projects, monitor milestones, and manage risks.
