Job summary

Hanscom Federal Credit Union Insurance Group is seeking an Account Manager who will develop relationships, analyze risks, and advise on coverage for Personal and Commercial lines. You will manage accounts, prequalify new business, and assist with renewals, while delivering exceptional service to members.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in insurance, a Maryland Property & Casualty license, and strong knowledge of Personal/Commercial lines concepts and agency processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Maryland Property & Casualty license required.
• 3–5 years in personal and/or commercial lines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned accounts as primary insurance advisor.
• Analyze client risks, coverage, and objectives to identify gaps.
• Evaluate coverage options, terms, and premiums with delegated authority.
• Counsel clients on policy changes and endorsements.
• Prequalify and rate new business; prepare submissions.
• Renewals: decide to renew, remarket, or modify coverage.
• Document client discussions and follow department standards.
• Maintain continuing education and knowledge relevant to risk analysis.
