Job summary

West Kentucky Community and Technical College seeks an Instructional Designer to drive revenue and program growth for Workforce Solutions by selling customized training to employers and building the curriculum to deliver them.

You will own the full sales cycle from outreach through delivery, rebuild the Marine Training program, and design USCG compliant courses, while developing broader credential pathways and digital learning resources with Salesforce, Google Classroom, and PeopleSoft.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, education, or economic development is required.
Background in B2B sales, account management, or business development is preferred.
Experience in teaching, curriculum writing, or instructional design is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Sell and close customized training programs with employers, owning the full sales cycle from outreach through delivery.
Design curriculum and materials to support training programs.
Rebuild and own the Marine Training program and design USCG compliant courses.
Serve as primary point of contact for assigned or acquired employers.
Develop broader curriculum and stackable credential pathways.
Build digital learning resources using Salesforce, Google Classroom, and PeopleSoft.
Evaluate course performance to drive continuous improvement.
