Job summary

Kerecis, Arlington, VA, seeks a Senior Instructional Designer to lead the development of educational content and establish design standards across the MSKA team. This on-site, full-time role focuses on aligning training with organizational priorities and optimizing learning strategy.

You will mentor designers, collaborate with SMEs, and ensure materials meet quality and compliance standards while supporting both internal stakeholders and field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, education, educational technology, multimedia development, medical or scientific content creation, or related fields.
• Experience leading design initiatives or mentoring content development teams.
• Proficiency with course-authoring tools.
• Experience in graphic design and multimedia production.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and digital training platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of high-quality, scalable educational materials that support organizational learning goals.
• Establish instructional design standards, frameworks, and best practices for the team.
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and creative direction to instructional designers and content creators.
• Partner with leadership to define learning priorities, project roadmaps, and resource planning.
