Job summary

Oolite Arts seeks an experienced Institutional Giving Manager to lead fundraising from government agencies, private foundations, and corporations. You will manage an existing grants portfolio, write funder-ready proposals, and collaborate with programs and finance to grow institutional support for expanding programs and exhibitions.

The role involves reporting to the Chief Development Officer, stewardship, and regular communications with the Board, including site visits and events to cultivate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a nonprofit or arts field and at least 5 years in institutional fundraising or grant writing.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading with tailored messaging.
• Creative, strategic thinker who connects program ideas with funder interests.
• Collaborative and able to build relationships with staff, leadership, the board, and external partners.
• Detail-oriented and organized with multiple deadlines and reports.
• Experience preparing grant budgets and financial reports; government grants preferred.
• Experience with a board or development committee is a plus.

Responsibilities

• New Funding and Program Partnership: identify funding to support program growth and develop new ideas with program leadership.
• Portfolio Management and Stewardship: manage renewals, funder relationships, and timely reports.
• Grant and Proposal Writing: write and submit proposals, LOIs, and supporting materials; ensure compliance.
• Corporate Partnerships: secure sponsorships, tailor proposals, and coordinate benefits with marketing.
• Operations and Administration: maintain calendars, prepare updates for the board, and manage donor records.
