Job summary

Providence Swedish seeks a Project Manager, Institutional Giving to oversee foundation, corporate, and select government funding opportunities, coordinating with development officers, grant writers, clinicians, and leadership across Providence Swedish.

The role manages end-to-end lifecycle: prospect research, proposal development, submission, stewardship, reporting, renewal, and compliance, aiming to grow a strategic portfolio and ensure timely funder deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 4 years of non-profit or Development Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or Equivalent Experience
• 2 years of demonstrated project management skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues
• Experience with Project Management methodologies and software
• Experience in managing projects in a complex, matrixed environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an annual institutional fundraising plan with revenue goals and stewardship strategies.
• Manage institutional giving workflows, timelines, and activities to ensure timely proposals, reports, renewals, and donor engagement.
• Establish processes, tools, and systems that enhance operational effectiveness and fundraising outcomes.
• Monitor program performance and provide updates on pipeline activity, proposal status, revenue forecasts, and funding results.
• Coordinate the development of grant proposals, letters of inquiry, presentations, budgets, and impact reports.
• Collaborate with program, finance, and leadership teams to gather outcomes data, financial information, and programmatic content for funding requests and reports.
• Ensure all submissions meet funder requirements, organizational standards, and established deadlines.
• Monitor grant award obligations and reporting requirements to ensure compliance and successful stewardship of institutional investments.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and analyses that provide visibility into institutional fundraising performance and funding outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive records of funder interactions, opportunities, proposals, and commitments within the CRM system.
