Job summary

Solich Piano and Music Company seeks an Institutional & Education Sales Manager to grow our institutional channel across multiple states. You will own relationships with colleges, universities, arts centers, K-12 districts, and other institutions, offering acoustic, digital, and hybrid piano solutions.

This high-autonomy role requires travel to territories, robust pipeline management, and collaboration with showroom teams and Yamaha specialists to deliver exceptional service and value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Music, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience in outside sales or institutional account management.
• Experience working with colleges, universities, performing arts centers, churches, or other institutional organizations is a plus.
• Familiarity with acoustic and digital pianos or related instruments is helpful.
• Willingness to reside in or relocate to the Ohio/Midwest region is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, own, and grow relationships with colleges, universities, performing arts centers, K-12 schools and districts, houses of worship, hospitality organizations, and other institutional customers across all Solich Piano markets.
• Travel throughout the territory to conduct customer visits, presentations, campus assessments, and follow-up meetings.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for new piano sales, replacement and trade-up programs, and performance venue upgrades.
• Present acoustic, digital, and hybrid piano solutions tailored to each organization's needs and budget cycle.
• Coordinate piano demonstrations, exhibitions, and institutional events with showroom teams.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, bids, and sales agreements through the full sales cycle, including procurement and board approvals.
• Build and maintain a healthy institutional pipeline with accurate records in the CRM.
• Attend conferences and educational events to represent Solich Piano and develop new relationships.
• Collaborate with showroom staff, technicians, and delivery teams to ensure flawless delivery and after-sale service.
