Job summary

Solich Piano seeks an Institutional & Education Sales Manager to lead and grow our institutional sales channel across a multi-state footprint. You will own relationships with colleges, universities, and K-12 institutions, providing acoustic, digital, and hybrid piano solutions to support music education and community engagement.

This high-autonomy field role manages the full sales cycle, travels extensively, and represents Solich Piano and Yamaha at the highest professional level.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills with faculty, administrators, and leaders.
• Strong written and verbal communication and professional presentation abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently while managing multi-market travel and a sales pipeline.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Understanding of institutional/higher-ed sales cycles including procurement and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with colleges, universities, performing arts centers, K-12 schools, and other institutions across Solich Piano markets.
• Travel to conduct visits, presentations, campus assessments, and follow-up meetings.
• Identify opportunities for new piano sales, replacements, and institutional programs.
• Present acoustic, digital, and hybrid piano solutions tailored to organizational needs and budgets.
• Coordinate demonstrations, events, and institutional programs with showroom teams.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, bids, and sales agreements through the institutional sales cycle.
