Job summary

Acoustical Solutions is seeking an Installation Coordinator in Richmond, VA to manage day-to-day activities of project managers and installers. You will prioritize timely material orders, organize the tool/equipment bay, and own the workflow to ensure profitable installations.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and ownership. Candidates should have OSHA training, a valid driver’s license, and multi-year construction or interior finishes experience.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 preferred; minimum OSHA 10 required.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing.
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years supervisory experience.
• 3+ years construction experience, preferably with an interior finishes trade.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and MEWP equipment safely.
• Ability to read and communicate blueprints and installation drawings; English language required.
• Creative problem-solving skills, open to new ideas or change.
• Detail oriented, organized with prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication and training skills for interaction with customers and contracting team.

Responsibilities

• Orders materials from 3rd party vendors for installations.
• Tracks materials delivery to ensure timely arrival before installation start date.
• Ensures all project materials are kitted prior to pickup.
• Manages organization and inventory of tool and equipment bay.
• Maintains stocking levels of standard installation materials and PPE.
• Performs pre-installation site visits to confirm field measurements and readiness.
• Submits AHA and other forms for jobsite access as required.
• Maintains installation fleet vehicles.
• Assists with installer scheduling and attendance.
• Assists with installer per diem allocation and cost/receipt reporting.
• Addresses policy issues with installation team and reports to management.
• Supports interview and training of new installation hires.
• Performs job site safety audits.
• Maintains installer training and certifications database.
• Conducts customer closeout walk-throughs on high-value projects.
• Supports 5S processes and core values Kaizen.
• Adheres to Employee Handbook and Health and Safety manual.
• Other duties as assigned.
