Acoustical Solutions in Richmond, VA seeks a Director of Contracting Services to oversee contracting operations, drive profitability, and lead a cross-functional team across estimating, engineering, and installation. The role sits on the senior management team and represents the company in strategic commercial activities.

The position reports to the President and requires a track record in commercial construction, sales leadership, and operational excellence.

Formación

• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Associates degree or higher.
• 5+ years’ commercial construction project management and estimating experience.
• 5+ years’ sales experience.
• 3+ years’ experience successfully building and leading commercial sales team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead, influence and manage people.
• BS Construction Management preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Works with the President and senior management to achieve goals.
• Manages the Commercial Estimating department and Sales Engineering.
• Drives execution and continuous improvement using DM tools (Kaizen, KPI, SD Plans, SOPs).
• Establishes KPI targets and leads monthly reviews.
• Ensures proper documentation using the SOP system.
• Leads annual strategic plan and SD planning.
• Develops installation processes that are safe, reliable, and efficient.
• Manages in-house installation teams and subcontractors to meet schedule and budget.
• Reports on policy issues to HR and oversees P&L for Contracting Services Installation.
• Collaborates with Project Managers to standardize and improve installation processes.
• Identifies, trains installation staff and subcontractors meeting company standards.
• Upholds Acoustical Solutions core values.
