Job summary

Oscar is hiring a Strategic Insights Associate, Data Analytics to partner across the organization in scoping, analyzing, and monitoring key financial and utilization metrics within the Pharmacy Program Management team.

The role requires 3+ years of analytics experience, strong SQL/R/Python skills, and clear communication to leadership. This hybrid Tempe position offers in-office Thursdays and flexible other days, with base pay plus bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical work experience using analytical tools and writing analytical reports.
• 2+ years working with large datasets and distilling analyses into insights.
• Strong communication skills with leadership-facing presentations.
• 2+ years experience in SQL, or proficiency in R or Python with Pandas.
• 1+ years experience in Google Sheets or Excel with VLOOKUP and nested IFs.
• 1+ years experience in healthcare, finance or insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Own insights generation for a major business unit and serve as primary contact for Sr. Managers.
• Analyze data to support data-driven decisions across teams.
• Tell data stories clearly for non-technical stakeholders; present findings effectively.
• Enhance dashboards and define requirements to meet evolving user needs.
• Identify opportunities to create models and tools to identify and remove inefficiencies in healthcare.
• Collaborate across the organization and manage stakeholder relationships to drive improvements.
