Oscar Health, Inc. seeks a Strategic Insights Associate, Data Analytics to drive analytical work for the Pharmacy Program Management team in NYC. You will own insights generation, work with Sr. Managers, and help shape data-driven decisions.

Based in New York City with a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office weekly), the role offers base pay of $101,844 to $133,670.25 per year plus benefits and annual performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical work experience using analytical tools and writing analytical reports.
• 2+ years with large datasets and distilling analyses into insights.
• Strong communication skills with leadership-facing presentations (Director+).
• 2+ years experience in SQL, or Python/R with Pandas and statistical tests.
• 1+ years in Google Sheets or Excel with VLOOKUP and nested statements.
• 1+ years in healthcare, finance, or insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Own insights generation for a major business unit and serve as a primary contact for Sr. Managers.
• Analyze data to support data-driven decisions across business teams.
• Tell data stories to non-technical stakeholders with clear visuals and narratives.
• Enhance dashboards and define requirements to meet evolving user needs.
• Identify models/tools to reveal healthcare inefficiencies and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with managers and senior managers to action improvements and track impact.
• Support other strategic projects and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
